its hard to find documents with so many folder in so many different places, can that be changed to one locaton?

put all folders i one location?

    If your documents are spread into many folder locations, then in File Explorer, you should be able to simply drag and drop all your documents or folders into one folder to make your personal file system simpler, where on your drive are all the folders located.

    Some programs store app data and output files in the Documents folder, and I leave those alone. I have a folder I named Personal Documents within the Documents folder, where I save the important files and folders I put there myself.

    You can’t safely merge Windows’ system folders on C:, but you can absolutely consolidate your own documents and folders into one place. If your files are scattered across many subfolders, open the top folder, type * (or kind:document) in the search box to list all files, select them, cut, and paste into a single new folder; then delete the now‑empty subfolders.
