My computer still runs great and has plenty of storage. I mostly use it for creating work documents using Microsoft Word. How can I make this work without having to buy a new computer?

    Hi,

Unfortunately, with the new update, if you are still using macOS Big Sur 11.7.11, there is no version of Office that is compatible, as Office now requires macOS 12 or later to continue receiving the required licensing updates. This change took effect on July 13, as stated here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/lifecycle/officeinstall/update-m365-office-macos-ios

If your Mac cannot be updated to the required macOS version, Office will enter reduced functionality mode.

Your options are to use Office on the web: https://www.microsoft.com/microsoft-365/word or use Office on a different supported device.
