I seem to have multiple accounts under my name and when registering for an exam its causing issue. Can I merge

    It depends on which accounts are involved:

    • Microsoft personal accounts and Microsoft 365 work or school accounts cannot be merged. They can only be used side by side.
    • Two separate Microsoft personal accounts also cannot be merged.
    • Microsoft Learn profiles can be merged in some cases, which combines learning progress, credentials, and transcripts.

    Before creating or changing anything, look for the confirmation email from your previous exam. It may show which email address and exam provider were used. Then register in a private browser window using only that account.

    If the registration is linked to the wrong profile, provide support with both email addresses, your Learn username, exam number, appointment date, and any existing booking reference. Do not post those details publicly. For a current appointment or scheduling error, contact Pearson VUE or Certiport through the links on the Credentials support page.
