Microsoft Account Missing or Compromised – Unable to Recover My Account

Hello Microsoft Community,

I am having a serious issue with my Microsoft account and I would really appreciate your help.

I am not sure whether my account was hacked or if it was somehow deleted or removed without my knowledge. I suddenly lost access to it, and I believe that the email address, password, and security information may have been changed.

I have already tried all the available account recovery methods and followed the instructions provided by Microsoft. However, every time I try to recover the account using the information I previously used, I receive a message saying that there is no account associated with that information.

Unfortunately, none of the recovery options or support pages have helped me so far, and I am unable to access my account at all.

I am the original owner of the account and I am willing to provide any information that may be required to verify my ownership.

If possible, I would be extremely grateful if a Microsoft support specialist could contact me directly and help me investigate what happened to the account and determine whether it was compromised, deleted, or had its information changed.

You can contact me at: Email: ******@gmail.com

Thank you very much for your time and assistance. I truly appreciate any help you can provide.

Account recovery is an online automated process, even if you are able to contact Microsoft Support, they cannot recover your account, they can only refer you to the account recovery form.

I wish I had better news for you, this forum is just a user to user forum, for security purposes, no-one here has any account access, when a Microsoft account is hacked, if the hackers change the associated data like the Email... etc., then that account is usually no longer recoverable, try using the process they provide on this link to recover a hacked account, if this process is not successful, sadly, that account cannot be recovered.

Thank you for your detailed response and for explaining the available options.

Unfortunately, I have already tried all of the methods you mentioned, including the Sign-in Helper, the account recovery form, and the other available recovery options. I have also tried the recovery process from devices and locations that I previously used to access the account.

None of these methods worked for me. The recovery tools either tell me that there is no account associated with my previous information, or they are unable to verify and recover the account.

I understand the limitations of Microsoft Support, but at this point I have exhausted all of the available self-service recovery options and I still have no way to access my account.

If there is any possible way to have a Microsoft support specialist manually investigate what happened to the account, I would be extremely grateful for their assistance.

Thank you again for your time and help.

If the account now shows “there is no account associated with that information”, the supported recovery path is limited to Microsoft’s official recovery tools.

    1. Start with the hacked-account Sign-in Helper. It asks for the email address or phone number and either shows the available self-help steps or offers the chance to talk to an agent.
    2. Before changing or resetting any password, run a full malware scan on the PC:
      • Open Windows Security
      • Go to Virus and threat protection
      • Select Scan options > Full scan > Scan now
    3. If sign-in is still possible anywhere, go to Security basics and review recent activity:
      • Select Review activity
      • If an entry is not recognized, choose This wasn’t me or Secure your account
      • Then change the password
    4. If the normal reset flow does not recognize the account, use the account recovery form and provide as much historical information as possible, such as:
      • old passwords
      • Outlook.com contacts and exact email subject lines
      • Skype details
      • Xbox console hardware ID if used
    5. Complete the recovery form from a device and location previously used to sign in, such as the usual home or office device/network.

    Important limits from Microsoft support:

    • Support agents cannot send password reset links.
    • Support agents cannot access or change account details.
    • If two-step verification was enabled and none of the alternate verification methods are accessible, Microsoft states that support cannot help recover the account.

If the account was changed so extensively that the original sign-in information is no longer recognized, Microsoft’s documented path is still the Sign-in Helper and recovery form. If those do not succeed, the context does not provide any escalation path where a specialist can manually restore the account.

Do not post personal contact details, passwords, recovery codes, or billing details in a public forum.
