Microsoft account hacked, email address keeps being changed by hacker

My Microsoft account was hacked, and the attacker changed the email address/alias linked to the account.

I still know previous passwords that were used on the account and can provide other information to prove that I am the original owner.

The biggest problem is that the hacker appears to keep changing the email address connected to the account, sometimes every day, which makes recovery even harder because the current sign-in address keeps changing.

I have already tried the normal Microsoft account recovery/sign-in options, but I have not been able to regain access.

Is there any way to have this case escalated to Microsoft Support or to speak with a real Microsoft employee who can help verify ownership of the account?

I can provide previous passwords and other account information if needed, but I will not post private account details publicly.

    Hi alabon,

I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. I can certainly understand how alarming it would be to find that an account which was working normally very recently now appears unavailable.

Please note that this is a community forum. We do not have access to Microsoft account records or internal account systems, so we're unable to verify the status of an individual account or determine whether it has been deleted, renamed, disabled, or otherwise affected.

Given the circumstances, the recommended next step is to use the Help with the Microsoft account recovery form guidance from Microsoft Support, which explains the recovery process and available options for account recovery: Help with the Microsoft account recovery form

I realize this may not be the outcome you were hoping for, but the recovery process described in that article is the appropriate path for account-related issues of this nature.

Good luck, and I sincerely hope you're able to regain access to your account.
