    Hi Robert,

Please go to https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders page. You should be able to see the recent charge and the explaination for the same.

If you do not see a charge on that page, the purchase is associated to some other Microsoft account - check who has the payment method access. You can always run the troubleshooter as well:

I look forward to hearing from you to get the results of the troubleshooting.

    1. Sign in to the Manage your payments page and select Investigate for the charge. This is the primary Microsoft flow for unrecognized charges.
    2. Check Services & subscriptions to see whether the charge is a subscription with recurring billing enabled or a renewal billed under a different Microsoft account.
    3. Review common causes Microsoft lists for unknown charges:
      • recurring billing on a subscription
      • a purchase by a family member or someone with access to the card
      • a previously declined charge being retried
      • a pre-order or split order that has now shipped
      • an in-app purchase
    4. If the charge is identified as a Microsoft subscription, cancel it from the subscription management page. If a payment was taken after cancellation, verify whether cancellation happened less than 2 days before the billing date.
    5. If the charge cannot be identified, contact Microsoft Support through Contact Microsoft Support, enter the problem, select Get Help, then Contact Support.
    6. If the card may be compromised, contact the bank or payment provider immediately to stop further charges. Disputing the charge alone does not prevent additional fraudulent charges.
