How do I cancel a $8.66 charge that I don't know what it is for?

    Please go to https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders page. You should be able to see the recent charge and the explaination for the same.

    If you do not see a charge on that page, the purchase is associated to some other Microsoft account - check who has the payment method access. You can always run the troubleshooter as well:
