    Hello @daniel souply

If your new printer is an all-in-one with a built-in scanner, Windows should normally detect the scanner after you install the correct printer/scanner driver.

First, go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners, select your new printer, and check whether the scanner options are available.

You can also open the Windows Scan app and see whether the scanner appears there. If Windows Scan isn’t installed, you can get it from the Microsoft Store.

If the printer works but the scanner doesn't appear, install the full driver/software package from the printer manufacturer's official support site rather than relying only on the basic Windows printer driver. Some multifunction printers require a separate scanner/WIA driver or the manufacturer's scanning application.

Also check that Windows Image Acquisition (WIA) is running:

    1. Press Win + R
    2. Type services.msc
    3. Find Windows Image Acquisition (WIA)
    4. Make sure the service is running.

Could you provide the printer manufacturer and exact model (for example, HP OfficeJet Pro 9125e, Canon MF455dw, Epson ET-4850) and tell us whether it's connected by USB, Wi-Fi, or Ethernet? Then we can give you the exact steps to enable its scanner.
