Dear Microsoft Support Team,

I am reaching out to urgently request assistance regarding my compromised Microsoft account.

I created this Microsoft account using my personal Gmail address primarily to play Minecraft. Because I have not played Minecraft for a long time, I had not signed into this account recently. Today, upon attempting to access my account, I realized it was compromised about a month ago.

After reviewing the alert emails sent to my original mailbox, I found evidence of an unauthorized takeover:

  • July 13: A security alert regarding a suspicious login attempt.
  • August 4: A notification stating that my security information was replaced with an unauthorized email address
  • August 5: A notification confirming an unauthorized password change.

Since I purchased Minecraft many years ago, I no longer have access to the original purchase receipt or Transaction ID. However:

  1. I have full, continuous access to the original email address to which all official Microsoft security alerts were sent.
  2. I have attached screenshots of all the official alert emails confirming that my email was replaced with a known automated hijacking domain.

I am ready to complete any verification steps sent directly to my original Gmail address to confirm my identity.

Could you please review the unauthorized activity on this account, remove the malicious security email, and help me restore access to my original address?

Thank you for your time and understanding.

Best regards,

    Hello Lê Đức Thắng

Thank you for reaching out, and I’m truly sorry to hear that your Microsoft account has been hacked. I understand how stressful and upsetting it can be to lose access to an account, especially when it may contain important emails, files, subscriptions, or personal information.

Unfortunately, as community moderators, we do not have access to Microsoft accounts and cannot view account details, verify ownership, reset passwords, recover accounts, or make any changes on a user's behalf. For privacy and security reasons, we also do not have any tools that would allow us to intervene in the account recovery process.

While I understand this may not be the answer you were hoping for, the best course of action is to follow Microsoft's official account recovery guidance. The support article below provides the recommended steps to secure and recover a hacked or compromised account:

The article will walk you through securing your account, reviewing recent activity, updating your security information, and working through the recovery process if you can no longer sign in.

I sincerely apologize that we cannot provide more direct assistance in this situation. I know how concerning account security issues can be, and I hope the guidance in the article helps you regain access to your account as quickly as possible. Wishing you the very best with the recovery process.
