A Microsoft file hosting and synchronization service.
Hi @Jenny Ey
Since you purchased the 100 GB again weeks ago, I would not keep waiting for the storage to update. Microsoft says the new quota normally appears within 24 hours, and if it hasn't updated after 48 hours, you should contact Support.
I'd check these things first:
Sign in to account.microsoft.com with the exact Microsoft account that owns the OneDrive files.
Go to Services & subscriptions and confirm the 100 GB OneDrive subscription shows as active.
In OneDrive, open Manage storage and check whether the quota actually shows the additional storage.
Make sure the purchase wasn't made against a different Microsoft account. This is fairly easy to do on a phone if multiple Microsoft accounts are signed in. Microsoft specifically lists this as a possible reason the subscription isn't appearing.
If the subscription is active on the correct account but OneDrive still shows the old quota, contact Microsoft Support and provide the order/purchase confirmation. Don't post the order number publicly.
Also, don't ignore the deletion warning. If OneDrive is still reporting that you're over your storage limit, the warning can continue. Microsoft says that when the storage limit is exceeded, the account can become restricted and, after the applicable period, files may be deleted.
If files have already disappeared, immediately check the OneDrive Recycle Bin. Microsoft 365 subscribers can also use Restore your OneDrive to roll the whole OneDrive back to an earlier point, where applicable.
The most important thing I'd verify is: Does the 100 GB purchase show as active under the same Microsoft account that owns the files? If yes, this is likely a subscription/quota provisioning issue that Microsoft Support needs to fix rather than something you should try to repair by deleting files.
