Try these steps in order for Windows 11:

    1. Check the audio output device.
      • Select the Sound icon on the taskbar.
      • Make sure the Bluetooth device is selected as the sound output.
      • Also go to Start > Settings > System > Sound and under Output select the Bluetooth device.
    2. Run the Bluetooth troubleshooter.
    3. Adjust the Bluetooth audio format.
      • Go to Start > Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Devices.
      • Select the Bluetooth device, then Advanced sound properties.
      • Under Output settings, set Format to 2 channels, 16 bit, 48000 Hz (DVD Quality).
      • The Advanced sound properties option appears only while the Bluetooth device is connected.
    4. Remove and pair the device again.
      • Go to Start > Settings > Bluetooth & devices.
      • Find the device, select More options (...) > Remove device.
      • Select Add device and pair it again.
    5. Turn Bluetooth off and back on.
      • Go to Start > Settings > Bluetooth & devices.
      • Turn Bluetooth off, wait 10 seconds, then turn it on again.
    6. Update the Bluetooth driver.
      • Open Start > Device Manager.
      • Expand Bluetooth.
      • Right-click the Bluetooth adapter and select Update driver > Search automatically for updated driver software.
      • Restart the PC if prompted.
    7. Check for Windows updates.
      • Go to Start > Settings > Windows Update.
      • Select Check for updates and install any available updates.
    8. Confirm the Bluetooth device supports A2DP.
      • Check the device documentation or manufacturer information to make sure it supports A2DP, which is used for higher-quality audio streaming.
    9. Restart the PC.
      • Select Start > Power > Restart.

If the Bluetooth device connects but still has no sound after these steps, the most relevant causes in Windows 11 are incorrect output selection, outdated Bluetooth drivers, or lack of A2DP support.

    Hello,

If you have successfully paired your Bluetooth (Speakers/headphones) to your Windows PC, make sure the default audio output device is set to your Bluetooth-connected device.

    To do that,

Go to Start > Settings > System > Sounds > Choose your output device.

Make sure your Bluetooth device is in the list and set it as the default.

    Output device (1)

If you have selected it as the default audio output device but still are not getting audio (OR) are unable to set it as default audio output device even after it is connected successfully, here are the troubleshooting steps you can try:

Method 1. Run the Bluetooth Troubleshooter.

    • Go to Start > Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters> Bluetooth and select Run.
    • Once the troubleshooter is finished running, restart your computer and pair your headphones again.

    Method 2. Reinstall Bluetooth adapters.

    • Disconnect/remove your headphones/speakers from the Bluetooth devices list.
    • Then go to Device Manager and expand the Bluetooth section.
    • Right-click your generic Bluetooth driver, such as Realtek (R) or Intel Bluetooth driver, select Uninstall device > select the 'Attempt to remove the driver software for this device' checkbox, and click Uninstall.
    • Once uninstalled, restart your computer and pair your Bluetooth headphones.
    • Set it as the default audio output device.

    See if it is working.
