Hi, I'm Bernard. I'm happy to help!
It seems that there is a miscalibration with the touchpad driver, or there is a hardware-related issue. To sort out the issue, I recommend rolling back the touchpad driver.
-Press the Windows key + X
-Go to Device Manager
-Click View > Click Show hidden devices
-Expand the Mice and other pointing devices or Human Interface Devices (HID)
-Look for your touchpad driver
-Right-click and click Update Driver
-Select Browse my computer for drivers
-Click Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer
-Choose an old driver or another driver name, then select it and hit next until it installs.
-Restart the PC and check.
Note: If the issue persists, I suggest downloading and installing the BIOS and Chipset update from your manufacturer's website to ensure that there is no miscalibration.
