Windows 11 26H2 - clean installation or upgrade?

Hello. I would like to install Windows 11 on my laptop and I am wondering if the best option is to wait until th 26H2 iso is released for a clean installation or install the 25H2 version today and upgrade to the next version as soon as it becomes available in early October. Thanks in advance.

Hi,

I honestly recommend installing version 25H2 until version 26H2 is released (there is no scheduled date for it yet). Version 25H2 is stable and with fewer bugs; if you install version 26H2 right away, you might encounter bugs during the initial days, as early adopters often face issues.

In contrast, version 25H2 has been out for a while and is currently stable.

If you do encounter bugs after updating to 26H2, you can revert to version 25H2.

I recommend performing a clean install of Windows version 25H2 using the USB method.
