It would be much easier working through any issues if Microsoft cared enough about it customers to provide actual support not a bunch of hoops

If it’s a billing issue of course you can contact support and chat with a human. In fact if it’s indeed a billing issue posting in the community won’t help since no one here can review your account

Go to https://support.microsoft.com/contactus, Type "Billing" and press Enter. On the next screen, click "Contact support" at the bottom of the page, then choose "Microsoft 365" > "Manage my subscription". You’ll then see the option to chat with a Microsoft support agent who has access to your account to help review the issue.

You can reference this detail step by step instruction with screenshots I posted in this thread: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/c/2714817

Hi, I'm Bernard. I'm happy to help!

If you have an issue with the subscription or billing, you may reach Microsoft Accounts and Billing support by following the steps below:

    Go to this link: https://support.microsoft.com/home/contact

In the search bar, type in your issue, then hit enter.

Scroll down to the bottom and select the blue button "Contact Support"

Microsoft does provide access to a real support person, but the available contact options depend on the product, issue type, subscription, region, and support hours.

For home and personal products, the supported path is:

    1. Go to Get Help on the web or use Get Help in Windows.
    2. Enter a description of the issue.
    3. If self-help does not solve it, select Contact Support.
    4. Choose the affected product or service.
    5. Confirm the category.
    6. Select one of the available contact methods:
      • Chat with a support agent in your web browser
      • Provide your phone number and a support agent will call you
      • Submit a repair request for hardware issues

For Microsoft account sign-in problems, the recommended starting point is the sign-in helper. Support agents are not allowed to send password reset links or directly change account details.

If the goal is to reach a live person for account or security issues, the documented support flow is still through Get Help and then Contact Support. If an option to chat or request a call does not appear, that usually means it is not currently available for that product, scenario, or time.
