How to recover a delted microsoft account

Hello helpers, my microsoft account has been deleted , what I mean is I tried to sign back in with my email but it didnt allow me too therfore I signed up a new account with my previous email and created this microsoft account.

Is there any way I can recover my old microsoft account? I tried to used the email to get back in however its as if it never existed.

Did you close the account yourself? If so, once it has exceeded the window you set (30 or 60 days) then that account is gone permanently.

It sounds like you can create a new account with the same email, that tells me the email is a third party address, right? If so, even though it is the same email address, it is now being treated as a different Microsoft, hence it is brand new without your old content.

In a simple example, you use your driver license/ID to rent an appartment on street A. You decided to stop renting it and ended your contract. Then you use your same ID to rent a new place on street B. Even though you use the same ID, they are two different spaces. It doesn't mean everything from street A would automatically show up on street B.

Sorry, once it is permanently closed, it is not recoverable.

If the old Microsoft account was closed, it can only be reopened during the 30-day or 60-day grace period. To try that, sign in at https://account.microsoft.com. If prompted, enter the security code to reopen it.

If the old account has been deleted, it cannot be reopened. This includes these cases:

the grace period after closing has already passed
the account was inactive for more than two years

Because the email now works for a newly created Microsoft account, that strongly suggests the old account is no longer available as an active Microsoft account.

What to do next:

Go to the Microsoft account sign-in page and enter the old email.
If it says “We couldn't find an account with that username” or “That Microsoft account doesn't exist,” the old account is not currently recognized as a Microsoft account.
Double-check the spelling and domain of the email address.
Use the Sign-in Helper tool for account checks and recovery guidance.
If the account was only closed recently, try signing in at account.microsoft.com to see whether it can still be reopened.

If the account is not recognized and the reopen window has passed, the old account cannot be recovered.
