Repeatedly getting this error. The credit card details are correct, no subscriptions are overdue and my account is not suspended.

PaymentAuthenticationVerificationFailed is a billing/payment verification issue during Microsoft 365 activation or redemption. Since the card details are correct, there is no past-due balance, and the account is not suspended, use this order:

    1. Verify the subscription status at Services & subscriptions: https://account.microsoft.com/services. Confirm Microsoft 365 shows as active.
    2. Check the payment method at Payment options: https://account.microsoft.com/billing/payments. If the payment method shows any error, update it.
    3. If the payment method looks correct, delete and re-add it, or try a different payment method.
    4. Confirm the billing address matches the payment provider’s records exactly.
    5. Check with the bank or payment provider because the transaction may still be blocked even when the card appears valid.
    6. Retry the activation in a different browser or an InPrivate/Incognito window. If needed, clear browser cache and cookies, then try again.
    7. If activation still fails, try from another device.
    8. If the issue continues after those checks, contact Microsoft Support.

The correlation ID and timestamp are useful to provide to support when escalating the case.
