Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
Hi Samiksha Mandal,
I understand how concerning it is to see the payment deducted while Microsoft 365 still shows as expired and the Office applications display “Unlicensed Product.”
Please try the following checks:
- Sign in to Services & subscriptions using the same Microsoft account used to purchase or renew Microsoft 365. Check whether the subscription appears as Active, Expired, or under Canceled subscriptions.
- Review your Microsoft order history and check whether the payment is listed as Completed, Pending, Declined, or Canceled.
- If the subscription shows as Active online, close all Office applications. Open Word or Excel again, go to File > Account, and select Update License or Reactivate if either option is available. Then sign in with the Microsoft account that owns the subscription.
- If the subscription was purchased through Apple, Google Play, Amazon, or another retailer, please check the order with that provider. For a retail product key, the key or renewal link may still need to be redeemed at Microsoft 365 setup.
Since the payment was deducted two days ago but the subscription has not been renewed, I recommend contacting Microsoft Support and selecting Microsoft 365 > Billing and account support. Please have the transaction date, payment confirmation, and order number available, but do not post those details publicly.
Please note that this is a user-to-user support forum. Community contributors cannot access payment records or manually activate a subscription, so Microsoft Billing Support will need to securely verify the transaction and subscription status.
Could you also confirm whether this is a Microsoft 365 Personal/Family subscription or a Microsoft 365 work/school subscription, and whether the payment appears in your Microsoft order history? Thank you so much for your understanding.
