Configuring preferences and options in Outlook.com
For Outlook.com or Outlook on the web, remove the address from the blocked list here:
- Select Settings.
- Go to Mail > Junk email.
- Under Blocked senders and domains, select the blocked address or domain.
- Select the remove icon, then Save.
If the sender should always be allowed, add it to Safe senders and domains in the same Mail > Junk email page.
If messages from that sender are already in Junk Email, open the Junk Email folder, select the message, and choose It’s not junk. If the sender was blocked by mistake, also remove them from the blocked senders list and add them to the safe senders list.
If Outlook.com still shows unable to complete or try again after several days, this can be a service issue. Microsoft notes that support from within Outlook.com is available by selecting Help on the menu bar, entering the issue, then under Still need help? selecting Yes.
