I'm locked out of my Window 11 Pro. I get a message that I can't sight in with this account

Try these in order:

1. Restart the PC.
   • If Windows shows Update and restart, use that option. A restart can clear temporary sign-in issues.
2. On the Windows sign-in screen, use the built-in recovery links.
   • Select I forgot my password if this is a Microsoft account sign-in problem.
   • Select I forgot my PIN if the device is using a PIN.
   • If Sign-in options is available, try the password option instead of the PIN.
3. If the Microsoft account itself is the problem, use the Microsoft Sign-in Helper from another device:
   • https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=2214157
   • It checks the account email address or phone number and guides the recovery steps.
4. If the account is locked, unlock it first.
   • Sign in at https://account.microsoft.com to request a security code.
   • Any phone number that can receive text messages can be used for the security code.
   • If the account does not exist or sign-in still fails, use the sign-in helper.
5. For the BitLocker key:
   • If this is a work or school account device, the BitLocker key may be available from the Devices page in the My Account portal on another device. Select View BitLocker Keys for the locked device.
   • If the recovery key is not available, BitLocker cannot be bypassed.
6. If Windows still will not sign in, check the Windows sign-in recovery articles for these specific cases:
   • We can't sign in to your account
   • Fix a corrupted user profile
   • Forgot your PIN
   • Change or reset your Windows password

Important:

• If the BitLocker recovery key is missing, there is no supported way to bypass BitLocker encryption.
• If the key cannot be found and account recovery does not restore access, the remaining option may be to reset or reinstall Windows, which can remove data on the drive.
