or try these:
- Turn off your Surface Pro 6.
- Press and hold the Volume Up button while pressing and releasing the Power button.
- Keep holding Volume Up until the UEFI (BIOS) menu appears.
- Select Boot configuration on the left menu.
- Verify that valid boot devices—including Windows Boot Manager and Internal Storage—are enabled and turned on. Look closely to see if there is an "X" icon over the internal storage, which means the hardware is not recognized.
