Azure Portal Login Problem

I am able to login to other microsoft services with my personal account but azure keeps asking for authenticator passcode of 6 digits, while in my Authenticator app I am getting an 8 digit password (for personal account). I am blocked out of my subscription and have gone through other similar support questions but haven't found a resolution. It doesn't send the code to my authenticator app as well. So neither the code (8 digits) nor the notification works, and it does not give a 3rd option to sign in. I have also tried to disable 2FA from the "My Sign Ins" page but still the authenticator code is diplayed while logging in.
