Invoice Number: G[Moderator note: Personally Identifiable Information removed]

Billing Profile: [Moderator note: Personally Identifiable Information removed]

Primary Tenant ID: [Moderator note: Personally Identifiable Information removed]

Invoice Amount:

USD 18.66

Issue:

I am being billed for Azure usage (Compute, Networking, Storage), but the Azure tenant I administer is different and has no subscriptions, billing accounts, or resources. I need to identify the account that owns tenant ID [Moderator note: Personally Identifiable Information removed], determine what resources are generating charges, and cancel the subscription or remove my payment method.

    Hi Omar,

Just to gently clarify before we go any further, this is a user‑to‑user support forum. I don’t have access to Microsoft’s billing systems, so I’m not able to directly cancel subscriptions or take billing-related actions. However, I’m more than happy to help review your situation and guide you toward the appropriate next steps.

Since the Azure charges appear to be associated with a different tenant than the one you currently administer, a good first step is to identify the domain associated with the Tenant ID shown on your invoice.

You can enter the Tenant ID at tenantidlookup.com to determine the corresponding tenant domain.

This link is shared by community members for your convenience. It points to a third-party site that is not managed or verified by Microsoft. I can’t guarantee the quality, safety, or suitability of any content or software found there. Please review carefully and make sure you understand any potential risks before using it.

Once you obtain the domain name, please check whether it is familiar to you or your organization. If it is, the account associated with the tenant may be tied to:

    • Your name or full name
    • A company-related account
    • An administrator account (for example, ******@domain.com)
    • A generic business account (for example, ******@domain.com)

Since you mentioned that you use Azure, there is a possibility that the unknown domain belongs to an older Azure tenant that was created in the past. I would recommend contacting Azure Support through Help + Support first, as they may be able to confirm whether the charges are coming from an Azure subscription.

If the charges cannot be linked to an Azure subscription you recognize, you can then contact Microsoft Support directly for a more detailed review of the billing account and payment method: Customer service phone numbers - Microsoft Support

When contacting Support, please have the following information available:

    • Invoice number
    • Billing profile
    • Tenant ID
    • Invoice amount: USD 18.66
    • The domain returned by the Tenant ID lookup
    • The last four digits of the payment method, if applicable

For security and privacy reasons, Microsoft Support may need to verify account ownership before disclosing subscription details or removing a payment method.

I hope this helps you locate the correct tenant and resolve the billing concern as quickly as possible. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to reply back.

Thank you for your understanding, and I wish you a wonderful day ahead.
