Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
If the Planner trial does not appear in the subscription list, first verify where it is managed:
- Sign in to the Microsoft subscriptions page at
account.microsoft.com/servicesusing the same Microsoft account that was used to start the trial. - Look for the Planner-related subscription.
- If Manage, Cancel, or Change payment appears, it is billed by Microsoft and can be canceled there.
- If management options are missing, it may be managed by a third party.
- If the subscription was purchased through Apple App Store, Google Play, Amazon, or another retailer, cancellation must be done with that provider directly.
- If Turn on recurring billing appears instead of cancel options, the subscription is already set to expire and no further action is required.
- If no cancel option appears, check these common causes:
- Signed in with the wrong Microsoft account
- Subscription is managed by a third party
- There is an overdue balance that must be paid before cancellation
- If the charge continues or the subscription still cannot be found, use Microsoft support to investigate the billing charge and contact support.
For Microsoft-billed subscriptions, the standard cancellation path is:
- Go to
https://account.microsoft.com/services/microsoft365 - Sign in with the Microsoft account used to purchase the subscription.
- Select Cancel subscription or Upgrade or Cancel.
- Follow the prompts to complete cancellation.
If a payment was already taken after cancellation, one documented reason is canceling too close to the billing date. Cancellations must be made more than 2 days before the billing date.
