was notified that my trial subscription of "planner" expires this month. I want to cancel it, but it does not appear in my list of subscriptions. How do I cancel?

Microsoft Planner is not included with Microsoft 365 Personal or Microsoft 365 Family subscriptions. According to Microsoft's Planner licensing and pricing information, Planner is designed for business, enterprise, and education Microsoft 365 tenants and relies on services such as Microsoft 365 Groups and Teams.

Based on your description, it sounds like the Planner trial may be associated with a Microsoft 365 business account rather than a personal Microsoft account.

Could you please sign in to the Microsoft 365 Admin Center using the business account that was used to start the Planner trial, then check:

Billing > Your products

User's image

From there, you should be able to locate the Planner trial subscription and cancel it or disable automatic renewal.

If you do not see the subscription in your current account, could you confirm:

Are you signed in with a personal Microsoft account or a work/school account?
Do you have access to the Microsoft 365 Admin Center?

This information will help determine whether the trial is attached to a different Microsoft 365 tenant or account.

If the Planner trial does not appear in the subscription list, first verify where it is managed:

Sign in to the Microsoft subscriptions page at account.microsoft.com/services using the same Microsoft account that was used to start the trial.
Look for the Planner-related subscription.
- If Manage, Cancel, or Change payment appears, it is billed by Microsoft and can be canceled there.
- If management options are missing, it may be managed by a third party.
If the subscription was purchased through Apple App Store, Google Play, Amazon, or another retailer, cancellation must be done with that provider directly.
If Turn on recurring billing appears instead of cancel options, the subscription is already set to expire and no further action is required.
If no cancel option appears, check these common causes:
- Signed in with the wrong Microsoft account
- Subscription is managed by a third party
- There is an overdue balance that must be paid before cancellation
If the charge continues or the subscription still cannot be found, use Microsoft support to investigate the billing charge and contact support.

For Microsoft-billed subscriptions, the standard cancellation path is:

Go to https://account.microsoft.com/services/microsoft365
Sign in with the Microsoft account used to purchase the subscription.
Select Cancel subscription or Upgrade or Cancel.
Follow the prompts to complete cancellation.

If a payment was already taken after cancellation, one documented reason is canceling too close to the billing date. Cancellations must be made more than 2 days before the billing date.
