I have the same issues. I followed the instructions that they have listed below. Since, I have no access to my account I can not change the password. I have Apple products and have screened all the devices for issues and my devices have none. I even sent them the emails that the hacker sent me demanding money. I have not received an email or phone call about my account. The hacker spams my calendar and sends bogus emails daily. No help from Microsoft. When did it become ok to not have support for a tech company. I had to go into my accounts and change my email address to all of my work accounts with the Hotmail account, I will probably have to do the same for my Outlook account. Terrible service for a paid account and for an original Hotmail account.

When a Microsoft account is hacked and the associated information is changed, such as the email address, recovering the account may no longer be possible. Please try following the recovery process provided by Microsoft in the link below:

If this process also does not work, unfortunately, the account cannot be recovered.

I got through to online support somehow and they have escalated it to a compromised account and raised it to some sort SIR code. Said this will be priority.

Hopefully they will sort it within 4 hours he said.
