    Hello,

When was the invitation sent to you?

If it's been 48 hours and you're trying to join now, the link will have expired automatically. You will have to Ask the family organizer to delete the previous invite and resend the invitation to join the Office 365 Family Subscription.

Alternatively, if you haven't exceeded the 48-hour limit since the invite was sent to you,

    1. Open a private browsing tab on your web browser.
    2. Sign in with your Microsoft account here -https://outlook.live.com/
    3. Then, open the invitation email and click Accept to join the Family 365 subscription.

You can also try clearing your browsing history, cache, and cookies (OR) use another browser and see if you can join the subscription. The problem can also be with the Wi-Fi network you're connected to. So, try switching to another one and see if it goes through.

For a Microsoft 365 Family join link that shows "Sorry, something went wrong" on Mac, use these checks first:

    1. Confirm the invite is still valid. Family subscription invitation links must be accepted within 48 hours. If the link is older, ask the organizer to resend it.
    2. Check family group membership. If the invited person is already in another family group, joining will fail. The invited person must leave the existing family group first, then join the organizer’s family group. After joining the family group, the organizer can share the Microsoft 365 Family benefits.
    3. Open the invite in a different browser or a private/incognito window. If the link was opened from email, try signing in and accepting it in another browser or in a private browsing session.
    4. Ask the organizer to resend the invitation using a different method. If email keeps failing, have the organizer resend the invite by SMS or a social media app.

The TraceId in this case is not enough by itself to resolve the join problem from the available guidance. The supported fixes are to verify the invite has not expired, make sure the invited account is not already in another family group, and retry the invitation in a different browser or private session.
