Dear Aled,
Your Microsoft account settings are only part of this. A Microsoft List is stored on a SharePoint site, and the site’s regional settings control how dates and times are normally displayed. Ask the site owner or school IT administrator to check:
Open the SharePoint site containing the list.
Select Settings > Site information > View all site settings.
Under Site Administration, select Regional settings.
Set:
- Locale: English (United Kingdom)
- Time zone: the appropriate UK time zone
- Time format: 24 Hour
Select OK, then reopen the list.
If you don't know who your IT administrator is, please refer to this article: How do I find my Microsoft 365 admin? - Microsoft Support
Also confirm the browser’s preferred language is English (United Kingdom), because the modern Lists interface may use browser locale information in some date-entry screens.
I hope this information helps clarify the situation and provides you with a clear path forward. Should you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out. I'm always happy to help. Have a wonderful day!
