    Hello,

Where were these files saved in OneDrive? Did you accidentally delete them, or did they disappear automatically?

If the files disappeared automatically, it could be due to one of the following reasons:

    1. Someone may have gained access to your account and deleted them.
    2. You may have exceeded your OneDrive storage limit and not upgraded your storage for more than six months.

If the files were stored locally and are missing, check your Desktop Recycle Bin instead of the OneDrive Recycle Bin, as local files are moved there.

If you see your files in the Recycle Bin, you can restore them.

Also, if you have a Microsoft 365 Personal or Family subscription, you can try restoring your OneDrive.

Restore deleted files or folders in OneDrive

    Note:

If you did not delete these files, have not exceeded your storage limit, and the files suddenly went missing, check your Microsoft account for any unusual activity.

Then, secure your account by adding a strong password and enabling two-factor authentication for added security.
