How can I change my billing address to use my new home address?

I have moved in January and need to update my billing address before renewing. The softeware does not recognize my new address, even though I have lived here for nine months. When I choose overide the message and to use the address I entered., the process never completes. There is a spinning circle instead. How can I get this fixed?

The subscription is tied to the billing country or region that was originally used when it was purchased.

What you can do instead is cancel the current subscription and wait for it to fully expire. If early cancellation is available, you can also use that option.

Once the subscription has fully expired, you can purchase a new Microsoft 365 subscription using your correct country, billing address, and payment information.

This is the usual way to update the billing location for the subscription.
