how do i recover my lost archived files

i talked to support and the archived files weren't there

    Can you tell me a little more about the issue?

    1. Where were these files originally stored: on the PC, OneDrive, an external drive, or somewhere else?
    2. How were they archived? Were they moved into a folder, compressed into a ZIP file, or backed up using Windows Backup/File History?
    3. Are the files missing completely, or do you still see the folder but it is empty?
