Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
Because the charge does not appear under the current personal Microsoft account and the card was likely saved on a different Microsoft account, there is no self-service way to identify or cancel that subscription from the current account.
Recommended actions:
- Go to the Manage your payments page and select Investigate to review the charge.
- Check any other Microsoft accounts that may have been used at the time. Unexpected charges can also be tied to another Microsoft account or to someone else who used the card.
- If the subscription was purchased through Microsoft and can be located, cancel it from Services & subscriptions. If Turn on recurring billing is shown instead of Manage, the subscription is already set to expire and no further automatic charge will occur.
- If the subscription cannot be accessed because it belongs to another account, contact Microsoft Support through Contact Microsoft Support and provide the transaction date, amount, and only the last four digits of the card.
- To stop further unauthorized charges, contact the bank or card provider immediately and ask them to block recurring Microsoft charges or replace the card if it may be compromised.
For a refund, Microsoft states that refund eligibility is checked after cancellation for subscriptions purchased from Microsoft. If the charge is not recognized, use Investigate on the payment management page first.
