Hello, good day and thanks for your question. Sorry to know about this and I understand that you encountered a payment issue with your Microsoft 365 subscription.

If there is an issue with the UPI payment, you may check and try a different payment method and you can also see the Microsoft support links below.

If you will still encounter an issue even after trying out the alternatives, you can reach out to the support team at https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/contactus/ and then click on Microsoft 365 and then click Get Home Support and then type in Billing question and click the blue button that says Sign in to contact Support and login and proceed from there.

If UPI payment is not being accepted, the supported behavior depends on the billing account type and transaction type.

For Microsoft 365 billing in India:

    1. UPI and NetBanking are supported only for one-time transactions.
    2. They are supported for existing customers only.
    3. In the admin center, when making a payment, select UPI / NetBanking from the Payment method drop-down, then select Make payment.
    4. The payment flow redirects to BillDesk, where UPI or NetBanking is chosen and completed.
    5. After submitting the payment, allow time for it to appear in the admin center.

If the payment still does not go through:

    • Some credit card transactions in India, especially above 15,000 INR, can be blocked due to RBI directives, which is why manual payment may be required.
    • Microsoft no longer stores card details in this scenario, so payment method details can appear as Unknown in the admin center.

For Azure billing in India, UPI and NetBanking are also supported only for one-time payments. The payment must be completed in the redirected bank or UPI app flow, then return to the Azure portal and select Complete. The browser should not be closed until payment finishes.
