A fully managed end-to-end service for digitally signing code, documents, and applications. (formerly Trusted Signing)
The portal is showing generic recommended solutions that don’t expose the backend failure reason, and they won’t produce an “Additional details” section or a ticket number. At this point Microsoft staff can see the backend error.
Share the Identity Validation ID with Microsoft staff via a private channel (reply to the validation email or open a private Azure support request).
- If you received a Microsoft validation email: reply to that email and include the Identity Validation ID plus a one‑line description (e.g., “portal kept showing unrelated recommended articles; no Additional details or ticket number”). That email thread is the fastest private route to continue the same request.
- If you did not receive an email: open a private support request in the Azure portal: Help + support → New support request. In the description include the Identity Validation ID, tenant/organization name if applicable, and a short summary of the portal behavior. Do not attach identity documents, tenant IDs, verification URLs, or any PII in the public form; the ID is sufficient for staff to look up the backend record.
Do not delete or recreate the validation request until staff confirm the request state — the request may be closed after attempts are exhausted and could be unrecoverable.
