    Hi @Mikey tanks

I’m sorry you’re dealing with this, especially when the other person is no longer available to help.

First, Microsoft 365 Family does not use a business-style global administrator. Please try signing in with your own Microsoft account at Microsoft account services. If the subscription appears under Services & subscriptions and you see Sharing, you are the subscription owner and can select Stop sharing beside your brother’s account. Only the subscription owner can manage subscription sharing.

You can also check Microsoft Family Safety. Only an account listed as an organizer can remove another family member.

If the subscription does not appear in your account, it may have been purchased or activated under your brother’s Microsoft account. Microsoft cannot transfer an existing Microsoft 365 Family subscription to a different Microsoft account. In that situation, you may need to turn off or cancel the old subscription through the account that owns it, or purchase a new subscription under an account you control.

If access still fails, use Contact Microsoft Support and state that the former administrator is unreachable.

Please note that this is a user-to-user support forum. Moderators and contributors cannot access accounts or Microsoft’s back-end systems. We can only provide technical guidance on reported incidents, requests and ideas

    Thank you for your understanding
