XPS Document Writer not working in Quickbooks

I have tried repeatedly to resolve this issue. I keep getting an error message regarding the XPS document writer. It shows that I have the XPS document writer in optional features. However, it does not show up as a printer in the list of printers/scanners. I'm trying to generate an invoice PDF in Quickbooks and keep getting an error message. PLEASE HELP! Thanks!

    If neither Microsoft XPS Document Writer nor Microsoft Print to PDF appears in Printers & scanners, that may indicate a broader Windows printing subsystem issue rather than a QuickBooks-specific problem.

    If Microsoft Print to PDF works but QuickBooks still fails, the issue may be with QuickBooks' PDF components. Intuit provides a QuickBooks Print & PDF Repair Tool specifically for PDF-generation errors.

    The XPS Document Writer does not show up in the list of printers.
