    Hello,

    Can he sign in to https://account.microsoft.com/services (Services & Subscriptions page) with his Microsoft account normally?

    Open an Incognito/InPrivate window and ask him to sign in using the link provided above. Then, check whether the Microsoft 365 subscription is listed under his account.

    If he has trouble signing in, please share the exact error message here. This will help me determine whether the issue is related to the Microsoft 365 subscription or the account itself.

    Meanwhile,

    On his laptop/PC,

    1. Open Control Panel and select User Accounts.
    2. Click Credential Manager.
    3. Windows Credentials.
    4. Remove all the Microsoft Office credentials. (It will be listed as MicrosoftOffice_Data:{String}
    5. Restart the computer, then launch the Office applications and ask him to sign in with his Microsoft account.
