Urgent: Sole Global Administrator locked out – MFA / Microsoft Authenticator

I am contacting you from this temporary Microsoft 365 tenant because I am unable to access the Admin Center of my original tenant.

I am the only Global Administrator of the original tenant. I have lost access to the Microsoft Authenticator MFA method associated with the administrator account, and there is no other Global Administrator who can reset my authentication methods.

This is a tenant lockout situation.

I have already tried contacting Microsoft Support through the official support phone number multiple times. Unfortunately, I was unable to reach a support agent because the automated phone system repeatedly disconnected the call. Therefore, I created this temporary tenant as an alternative way to contact Microsoft Support and request assistance.

I need this case to be escalated to the Data Protection / Tenant Recovery team for verification of tenant ownership and reset of the MFA authentication methods for the Global Administrator account.

Original tenant domain: proamper.ee Global Administrator username: [Moderator note: Personally Identifiable Information removed]

I can provide DNS/domain ownership verification, billing information, company information, and any other information required to verify ownership of the tenant.

Please escalate this case to the appropriate Data Protection / Tenant Recovery team, as I currently have no other way to regain administrative access to the original tenant.

    Hi Rustam,

Since you have already created a temporary tenant, please sign in to the Microsoft 365 Admin Center to create a support ticket on behalf of your previous tenant with Microsoft:

    • Sign in to the Microsoft 365 admin center using an administrator account of the temporary tenant
    • Select Help & support from the navigation menu.
    • Turn off the Support Assistant toggle at the top of the support pane.

    User's image

    • Use the keyword "Support" to quickly bypass automated suggestions > Select Contact Support.
    • In the ticket description, please provide a clear and detailed explanation of the issue.

Also, you can include in the ticket description information such as:

    • Tenant name/domain
    • Affected administrator account
    • Microsoft 365 subscription details
    • Proof of tenant/domain ownership
    • Billing or subscription-related verification information
    • Any organizational documents requested by the recovery team

so the Data Protection team can help verify your tenant ownership and assist with recovering access to the Global Administrator account.

I hope these steps help you create a support ticket successfully and move closer to regaining access to your administrator account. While I’m not able to intervene directly, guiding you to the right support team is the most effective help I can provide here.

Hope you're able to get this resolved soon.
