Artifact Signing organization validation: Action Required, but verification link already used

I am completing public organization identity validation for Azure Artifact Signing.

The Identity validations list shows "Action Required", but the request details pane shows "In Progress" and still includes a "Please complete your verification here" link. Opening that link displays: "Sorry, this link has been used already. Please return to Artifact Signing to review the status of your request." Refreshing the list still shows Action Required.

I created a Verified ID in Microsoft Authenticator, but I cannot confirm whether the separate credential-presentation step was successfully received by Artifact Signing. The primary verification email and the Azure administrator sign-in are different accounts; the used-link page currently shows the administrator account. I do not know whether that is relevant.

How can I confirm whether the credential presentation was received, and determine what action remains outstanding? Should this be investigated by the validation team rather than creating another request? I have not deleted or recreated the request.

The Azure support-ticket workflow blocks technical tickets under my Basic support plan. Please advise on an appropriate support route if backend investigation is needed. I have omitted account identifiers and identity documents from this public post; request identifiers can be supplied through an official private support channel if needed.

Hi,

Since the request is still showing In Progress, while the list shows Action Required, I would recommend not creating or deleting another identity validation request for now.

Please try the following:

Open Azure Portal → Artifact Signing account → Identity validations.

Open the affected request and note the Identity Validation ID and current status.

Confirm that the correct email address was used and that the verification step was completed.

Since the verification link now says “This link has been used already,” please don’t try to reuse the same link.

Refresh the status after some time and check whether it changes to In Progress or Completed.

If it continues to show Action Required/In Progress without any clear next step, I recommend contacting Microsoft support or the Artifact Signing team rather than creating another request.

When contacting support, provide the Identity Validation ID, Artifact Signing account details, and relevant timestamps. Please avoid sharing any identity documents or sensitive information publicly.
