Can't see my flagged Outlook emails on To-Do web and app. Even the option is not available in the Connected apps section.

If Flagged email is missing in To Do > Settings > Connected apps, the most likely cause is the account type.

The Flagged email list is available only for accounts hosted by Microsoft, such as:

    • Outlook.com
    • Hotmail.com
    • Live.com
    • Custom domains hosted by Microsoft

To make flagged emails appear in Microsoft To Do:

    1. Sign in to Microsoft To Do with the same work, school, or personal account used for Outlook email.
    2. In To Do, open the list menu and select Flagged email > Create, or turn on Flagged email in Settings > Connected apps when the option is available.
    3. After it is enabled, flagged Outlook messages appear as tasks in To Do.

    Important limits:

    • Only emails flagged from the primary mailbox sync to To Do.
    • Shared folders and shared mailboxes are not supported for flagged email sync.
    • The list initially shows the 100 most recently flagged emails from the last 30 days.
    • On mobile, the Flagged Email list must first be enabled on desktop in the To Do web or Windows app.

If the option does not appear at all in Connected apps, check whether the Outlook account being used is actually hosted by Microsoft and that the same account is signed in to both Outlook and To Do.

    Hi @Lima TechSupport

This issue usually occurs when the connection between Exchange Online and Microsoft To Do is either restricted by tenant policies or temporarily out of sync. Here is a breakdown of why this happens:

-The Flagged Email integration is exclusively supported for mailboxes hosted on Exchange Online (Microsoft 365 Work/School or Outlook.com). Shared mailboxes, IMAP, or POP3 accounts do not support this feature.
-If you are using a Work or School account, your organization's IT administrator may have disabled the Microsoft To Do integration or Exchange tasks feature via Exchange Web Services (EWS) or PowerShell policies.
    Please refer the following steps:

-Verify Your Primary Mailbox: Ensure you are signed into Microsoft To Do with the exact same primary Exchange account where you flag your emails, rather than an alias or secondary account.
-Access via Outlook Web (OWA): Open Outlook on the Web, click the To Do icon on the left sidebar (or top right pane), and check if the Flagged Email list appears there. Enabling or viewing it directly inside OWA often triggers the backend sync.
-Contact Your IT Administrator: If you are on an enterprise or school tenant, ask your global admin to confirm if Microsoft To Do is enabled for your user license and that EWS/To Do access hasn't been restricted.

If you are a tenant admin or on a personal account and the option remains missing after these steps, please let me know your account type (Personal vs. M365 Business) so I can look further into this for you.
