If Microsoft Authenticator is not scanning the SAP Concur QR code, use these steps:
- Update Microsoft Authenticator to the latest version. QR scanning may fail on older versions.
- Open Microsoft Authenticator, select the plus icon, and add the account from there.
- For a work or school account, select Work or school account and then Scan a QR Code.
- If the QR code still does not scan, on the sign-in/setup page select Can't scan the QR image or Can't scan the image if that option is shown.
- In Authenticator, use the manual entry option and enter the code and URL shown on the setup page.
- If the account setup page is for a work or school account, the QR code is normally generated from the Security info page at https://mysignins.microsoft.com/security-info.
If the app is asking for approval or a number match before the account was successfully added, the MFA registration may need to be reset by the organization administrator so the account can be registered again.
