Email account locked and no response to the recovery account form after 3 days

One of my email account has been locked. I completed the recovery account form 6 days ago giving as much details as possible and providing an alternative contact email (that I have access to). I didn't get a response within 2 days (it said the response would be within 24h) so I submitted another one 3 days ago. Still no response.

I spoke to an agent, he said they can't do anything and to submit another recovery account form. What can you do when your email account is locked and you get no response from the recovery account form? Is there any email or phone number or hidden trick that can help to help reach out to someone that can help you unlock?

I urgently need to get access back to that email and if I still don't hear back from the latest recovery form, I don't know what to do. Any help is appreciated please.

    Hey there, Sophie L

Unfortunately, the only way to recover the Microsoft account is through the Microsoft account recovery form. Microsoft support have no insight into the recovery form and can't influence the decision.

I know this will be frustrating, because you need to get into your Microsoft account, but unfortunately what the support agent had told you is correct. In order to recover the account, you must submit an account recovery form for it to be reviewed.

Because Microsoft takes account security seriously, unless they are 100% certain you are the account owner, they won't reset your password or security information. In addition to this, if you have enabled two-factor authentication, they are unable to bypass this and reset it due to how the system works.

I am sorry I can't bring better news about this situation, but do hope they are able to help reset your account information.

    Hope this helps,
    Nathan
