Trouble with bluetooth in Windows 11

New Laptop . Cant get bluetooth to work .
It sees my devices ,printer and headphones .and shows connected, then immediately shows "not connected "
I,ve tried all the troubleshoots , countless times , restarted everything ,many times etc etc . But nothing works.
Please help

2026-09-04T10:23:57.24+00:00 Hi and thanks for all your help. I’ve returned laptop as there were more faults. I couldn’t get sound and the electrical plug was loose. i didn’t uninstall the Intel wireless Bluetooth R device

2026-09-03T15:46:00.87+00:00 Thanks, Eddie. Super odd that HP does not provide a Bluetooth driver for this model on the website.
- Press Windows + X → select Device Manager.
- Expand Bluetooth.
- Find your Bluetooth adapter (for example, Intel Wireless Bluetooth, Realtek Bluetooth, etc.).
- Right-click it → select Uninstall device.
- If available, check “Attempt to remove the driver for this device.”
- Click Uninstall.
- Restart your PC.
STEP 2:
Check for Windows updates to find the updated driver.

To attach a screenshot, see below:
- Press Windows key + Shift + S together on the keyboard. The screen will dim with overlay. Drag the pointer to take a screenshot.
- The screenshot will be copied to the clipboard. Please press Ctrl+V in the editor to paste it, then confirm to attach the image.
Alternatively, you can press the PrtScn key on the keyboard, if it exists, to directly copy the Entire screen, which you can paste using CTRL+V.
