    Hi @Joe Adams

When you buy Microsoft 365 through a Cloud Solution Provider (CSP), the partner owns the billing relationship. Your users, mailboxes, files, and domain live in a tenant that belongs to your business. A suspended partner doesn’t take that with them.

One important distinction: Microsoft 365 Personal/Family is a different product entirely, no tenant, no custom-domain email, no user management. You can’t move a business tenant into it. What you almost certainly want is to buy the same business licenses directly from Microsoft inside your existing tenant. Could you please let me know whether you can still access the Microsoft 365 admin center as a Global Admin? If you can, please follow the steps below.

1.Sign in at admin.microsoft.com with your admin account and check Billing > Your products to see the subscription state.

2.Back up now as insurance: export mailboxes to PST in Outlook, download OneDrive/SharePoint content. Do this before anything else.

3.Go to Billing > Purchase services and buy the equivalent plan (e.g. Business Standard) directly from Microsoft, paid on your own card.

4.Assign the new licenses to your existing users. Mailboxes and files reattach to the same accounts, no migration needed.

5.Once stable, go to Settings  > Partner relationships and remove the partner’s delegated access.

Usually, a suspended subscriber has a grace period during which data can still be accessed by the administrator for a certain amount of time before it is deleted. Therefore, if the tenant is in a suspended state, you should handle it as soon as possible.

-If you specifically want Microsoft 365 Personal

You would need to purchase Microsoft 365 Personal separately and manually move the data you want to retain. This is a migration, not a subscription transfer.

    Important informations:

    • Business user accounts do not automatically become personal Microsoft accounts.
    • Microsoft 365 Personal cannot take over the existing business tenant licenses.
    • A business mailbox and custom-domain email service do not transfer automatically to a Personal subscription.
    • OneDrive for Business and personal OneDrive are separate storage locations.
    • Microsoft describes account-to-account migration as a manual process that requires planning and can involve service interruption.

Do not delete users, remove the custom domain, or cancel the old tenant until you have backed up or migrated the required email and files. Please provide more information.
