I cannot access anymore Microsoft list as an owner

Hello,

I was creating a list on managing permissions, and by myself I removed full access, a group of people that I was part of: two contributors so, there is not any more site owner of this list. I cannot make edits anymore to the columns, and it tells me to send a message to the site owner. I try to send it, but no one seems to be getting any message. I am not sure what to do and how to recover my access. I also tried to create a new list in SharePoint, and it tells me that I cannot create new lists (even though I am site owner of the Sharepoint), tried to ask another site owner of the Sharepoint - same issue.. I don't have permissions anymore to create lists and edit them and I don't know how to fix this.

Could you please help me?

Thank you for your reply, this is affecting all the lists in my sharepoint.
For the second question, I am technically still a site owner of the sharepoint, so probably permissions are list related

Since the issue is affecting all lists on the SharePoint site, I'd like to check one more thing. Have you had a chance to ask your Microsoft 365 or SharePoint administrator to review the site in the SharePoint Admin Center and verify that your account still has the expected Site Owner permissions?

An administrator can confirm whether your account is still assigned the correct role and permissions at the site level and whether any permission changes may be preventing you from creating or managing lists.

Could you also let me know whether the administrator was able to verify:

That your account is listed as a Site Owner for the affected site.

That the site itself has not been set to a more restrictive permission configuration.

Thank you for posting on the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Based on your description, it sounds like the permissions on the SharePoint site or list may have been changed in a way that removed the owners who could manage access. Since you can no longer edit the list settings or create new lists, I would recommend contacting your organization's Microsoft 365 or SharePoint administrator for assistance.

Ask the administrator to:

Open the SharePoint Admin Center.
Locate the affected SharePoint site.
Verify the site's permission settings and owner group membership.
Add your account back as a Site Owner (or grant equivalent permissions) so you can manage the list and site again.

If there are no remaining site owners with sufficient permissions, a SharePoint administrator should still be able to restore the appropriate access from the admin center.

To help narrow this down further, could you confirm:

Is the issue affecting only this specific list, or all lists on the SharePoint site?
Did the permissions change only on the list, or were changes also made at the site level?
