Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
Hi, Jesse Omolo
The missing purchase likely means the original Microsoft account was compromised and its sign-in alias was changed. Creating a new account with the same email does not bring over the Minecraft license because purchases remain attached to the original account.
Here are some suggestions you can try:
Search your email, PayPal, bank, or card history for the original Minecraft receipt. Look for “Minecraft,” “Mojang,” or “Microsoft,” and note the transaction ID, order number, purchase date, amount, and payment method. These details can help verify that you own the game. Find a Minecraft transaction ID
Then submit a request through Minecraft Support. Include the original email address, Minecraft username or Xbox Gamertag, receipt or transaction ID, and explain that the email now opens a newly created account.
