Dear community,

I wanted to create an account for my daughter so that she does not have an issue later in life getting a proper email address but when I tried to create one and enter her birthday, it gave the "Account creation has been blocked" error.

Is there a way to contact Microsoft and explain this to them so they can allow the creation of this account or what is the best course of action here?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Kind regards,

Tom

    Hi,

I suggest creating an account through Microsoft Family Safety. Here are the steps:

    • Go to this link: https://account.microsoft.com/family/home
    • Sign in to your Account
    • Add a Family Member and make sure to select Member > Click Next
    • Click Create an account, and then get a new email address for your child.
    • Follow the prompts and enter the other details

If you need additional assistance, please let me know.

    Stay Safe!
