My brother has multiple admin accounts that he has set up email accounts for people from multiple domains. I know that he set up my account, but he has logged into all of them and cannot locate my supervised account. The account works fine; I can log in and out, and I can see that I have an administrator called "Weber Family," which is his last name. I cannot pair things that I need to the account for business or upgrade it to Hippa compliant without his admin approval. Microsoft just tells me to reach out to my administrator. What do I do?

Hi Melinda,

Since the account is still active and shows it is managed by your brother, I would suggest first identifying the tenant associated with your sign-in address.

You may wish to try the following:

1/ Sign in to Account page > My account > Organizations and check the organization name is displayed.

2/ Go to https://entra.microsoft.com to see the tenant name and Tenant ID.

Once you have that information, ask your brother to sign in to the Microsoft 365 Admin Center or Microsoft Entra Admin Center for the tenant that matches the organization name or Tenant ID you found. He can then search for your account there and, if needed, assign the appropriate administrative role or perform the required HIPAA/compliance-related configuration on your behalf.
