Child account stuck in orphaned Microsoft Family group after organizer account deletion

My child Microsoft account is permanently stuck in a Microsoft Family group because the organizer account is permanently gone, I cannot leave the group on my own, and frontline support says they cannot clear it. Please manually unlink or clear my child account from this orphaned family group on the backend.

    There is not much you can do in this case. Maybe support can do it, but this people on this forum cannot.

    Please contact Microsoft Support for further assistance.

     

    Exact steps to reach support:

    • Please go to the https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/home/contact page.
    • Click Microsoft Office / Windows depending on the issue.
    • Click Get Home Support.
    • Type "Billing" and press Enter.
    • Please click on the "Contact support" button at the bottom.
    • Select the Category for support based on your requirements.
