It seems this bundle was too good to be true

I bought an Acer nitro V 15 for my daughter for school. When we went to claim the bundle and get her verified, we were sent a message that she couldn't be validated even though she used her school .edu email account. Upon looking at the terms we see that only new memberships for game pass and Microsoft office were available to claim the bundle. So exactly how many accounts do you guys think have never tried game pass. It sounds like it's next to impossible for someone to claim. What college kid wouldn't have tried a free trial or even paid subscription to game pass at one point or the other? That's the whole idea, isn't it? Theres virtually no one that can claim this. Nice Microsoft, you never cease to amaze the lows you all take to make people give you all their info for free...last straw for me, I'm installing Ubuntu on the acer nitro v 15. I'm done with Microsoft and anything that is tied to it.
