Hello,

I cannot log into my Hotmail account and I have filled out everything on the recovery page but still cannot.

please help!

are there any phone numbers for Microsoft that I can call regarding my current Hotmail log in problem. Thank you!

May I please know the exact error message you receive when you sign in with your Microsoft account here - https://account.microsoft.com/

Is your Microsoft account hacked/blocked/forgot password/deleted?

Do you still have the recovery Phone number or email address to Verify Your identity?
When was the last time you were able to sign in successfully to your Microsoft account?

Note - If you have two-step verification turned ON, you cannot use the account recovery form to recover your account.

Another important thing to note here is that Microsoft takes the Account's security and privacy very seriously. So, Microsoft Support will not be able to grant you access to your account, you will be sent back to the Account Recovery pages.

I have filled in the account reinstatement form and am waiting for the decision.

i need to get back to the account, I think anyhow because I have college coursework in that account.

i want to be able to reset my password again to regain access to my email. That’s all.

If you are making any security changes to your account like resetting your password, you will have to verify your identity using the recovery Phone number or email address.

yeah I do not have any of these recovery phone numbers and I have forgotten the password to my Gmail recovery account as well.

Hi,

If you are making any security changes to your Microsoft account, you will be asked to verify your identity using the recovery Phone number or email address.

If you no longer have any of the security verification methods active, you will have to keep trying the account recovery form until you are being verified by Microsoft.

Note-

Microsoft takes account security very seriously, that's why Account Recovery is an automated process with no human influence. If you don't have the correct information, you may not be able to get through account verification using the Recovery Form.

The Account Recovery Form requires adequate information to prove that you are the owner of the account. The Account Recovery Process can be a time consuming process, but providing as much info as possible from the start of the process will increase the possibility of being verified by the automated process. You'll need to keep trying until you're verified by Microsoft.

Remember to use a familiar device from which you've frequently accessed your Microsoft account, as well as a familiar location. Microsoft will review your responses and respond within 24 hours. If you are verified, instructions on how to log back into your account will be sent to you, and if you are not verified, you will need to submit the Account Recovery form again. You can do this up to 2 times every 24 hours.

For a Hotmail account sign-in problem, the recommended path is to use the Microsoft account Sign-in Helper first, because it can identify many account issues and guide the next steps: Sign-in Helper.

If the recovery page has already been completed and access is still blocked:

Verify the account name carefully, including the correct domain such as .com or .co.uk.
If the email address is not recognized, try another alias or phone number linked to the account.
If the password is known but it no longer works, use Recover your account and complete the security code steps here: Recover your account.
If sign-in still fails, use Microsoft Support through Get Help and then Contact Support: Contact Microsoft Support.

For Outlook.com sign-in issues specifically, Microsoft states that the Outlook.com team cannot help directly with sign-in problems and that the Microsoft account sign-in helper must be used to regain access.

Microsoft support agents also cannot send password reset links or access or change account details.
